Q&A with Professor Sarah Dangelantonio

Do you have any pets?
[SD]   Yes, two cats, Maisy (Maine Coon) and Karma (dark tortoise shell) and a dozen laying hens of various breeds.

What's your favorite class to teach?
[SD]  Introduction to British Literature --  what’s not to love about covering the literature from 450AD to 2005 in fourteen weeks?

What annoys you the most about students?[SD]  Making excuses for their decisions rather than taking responsibility and the consequences.

Is there something interesting about you that most people don't know about?
[SD]  Hmm,  I used to play sousaphone in the Davidson H.S. “Sound of Mobile” Marching Band.

What advice would you give to college students?
[SD]
Learn to manage your time and get your work done enough ahead of time that you can let it “sit” and then go back over it.

If you could go anywhere and do anything, where would you go and what would you do?
[SD]
Go to Australia and study the natural landscape; do lots of B&W photography.
