Hamas win a road block to peace?
--
When President Bush laid out his "Roadmap to Peace" in 2003, the idea of a workable solution between the Palestinians and the Israelis seemed ambitious, but realistic. However, in the last two years, Bush's guidelines to peace have steadily fallen apart. The tumultuous politics of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have made it nearly impossible to reach any meaningful solutions. Now, with the self-proclaimed Palestinian terrorist group Hamas winning big in parliamentary elections, the United States and other international observers are concerned about backward progress in the region. Will the Israelis and Palestinians ever solve their stark political, religious and geographical differences? Read on to see what the future may hold for the unstable region.

State of the Union
--
After six years in office, president Bush has overseen many successes and tragedies. On Tuesday night, he had the chance to address the nation and speak about the past and future of his presidency. Bush outlined many foreign and domestic priorities that are important to the future of all Americans. The many topics include national energy policies, healthcare, social security, the federal deficit, domestic spying, the future of the Iraq occupation, and broad strategies for the War on Terror. With three years of Bush leadership to go, Americans could see many of these initiatives acted upon. So what does that mean for the nation? What changes are you likely to see? Read on for reactions and analysis of the State of the Union address.
