UK Bank Robbery- A security company that handles the Bank of England was robbed this week, making off with an estimate of 25 million pounds, or $43 million.  The gang involved impersonated police officers in the incident.  No one was injured during the overnight heist by a gang of people impersonating police officers.  The heist occurred at Securitas Cash Management Ltd., and a cash center in Tonbridge.  The final total is unsure, more than $43 million may have been stolen.  During the heist, two teams of people worked together.  The manager of the center was involved, taken hostage by the group.

Marine Drowning-
Jason Tharp was like many teenage boys who enlist in the Marines to get money for college. What he didn’t except was that he wouldn’t make it out of recruit training alive- in fact he drowned treading 8 feet of water. Two weeks after his death the case is being brought to court charging Sgt. Nadya Lopez of negligent homicide. It is even more disturbing to discover that the Sgt. was only an arm’s length away from the Marine recruit according to prosecutors.  Read more about Tharp’s drowning and what really went on in the recruit depot before he died.

Related News: Law schools across the country have been challenging a rule that requires universities to give equal access to the military recruiters or risk losing funding.
