Death
penalty for 9/11 mastermind?
Zacarias Moussaoui, a terrorist who played a role
in planning the 9/11 attacks on the U.S., is currently on trial
and prosecutors are doing everything they can to secure the
death penalty for him. At the trial, prosecutors played the
final moments of Flight 93 for the jury while simultaneously
showing them the flight plan. Although Moussaoui was in jail
when the attacks actually happened, he is charged for the deaths
of at least one person because the information he refused to
give federal agents resulted in the attacks taking place. The
defense is attempting to argue that Moussaoui deserves only life
in prison because his role was limited and he is not sane.

Iran's
nuclear program raises price of gas For those of you who wonder what makes
gas so expensive, one of the answers came this week when Iran

gain the capability for a nuclear power program. Because the
United States and many nations in the international community
fear that this is only one step closer to Iran achieving nuclear
weapons capabilities (in fact, keeping Iran from
attaining even this level of enrichment was one of President’s
Bush’s main goals)...(cont'd)
