Death penalty for 9/11 mastermind? Zacarias Moussaoui, a terrorist who played a role in planning the 9/11 attacks on the U.S., is currently on trial and prosecutors are doing everything they can to secure the death penalty for him. At the trial, prosecutors played the final moments of Flight 93 for the jury while simultaneously showing them the flight plan. Although Moussaoui was in jail when the attacks actually happened, he is charged for the deaths of at least one person because the information he refused to give federal agents resulted in the attacks taking place. The defense is attempting to argue that Moussaoui deserves only life in prison because his role was limited and he is not sane.

Related News: In addition to listening to the taped recording of the final moments of Flight 93, jurors also heard testimony from the victims' families.

Related News: The White House responds to Iran's nuclear ambitions, saying that attacking the country is unlikely.
