INTERNATIONAL NEWS NATIONAL NEWS

Israeli President will resign due to rape charges-Israeli President Moshe Katsav is expected to announce his resignation from office because of a pending indictment for rape and other criminal charges.
Katsav's resignation may be in the form of a leave of absence which he has requested of Attorney General Menahem Mazuz and the Knesset House Committee.  The approval of his request for a temporary leave of absence will come from Knesset.
On Tuesday Mazuz announced that there is enough evidence to charge president Katsav with rape, sexual assault, obstruction of justice and abuse of power.
Katsav has denied the allegations.  Four women who worked fro him in the late 1990s have come forward to create the charges.  Mazuz has stated that he will also be charged with fraud, breach of trust, harassing a witness and obstruction of justice if he is to be indicted.
No Israeli president has been charged with a crime while in office, but many politicians have been put on trial for corruption allegations recently.
Israel's parliament has asked that Katsav resign immediately and as a result he has asked to suspend himself.

Missouri teen reveals info about kidnapping

15-year-old Shawn Hornbeck who was rescued on January 12th and his family are starting to reveal what happened during the time he was kidnapped over four years ago.

''I never want any kid to go through what I went through,'' Hornbeck said.
Hornbeck and his family appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, which aired last Thursday after the teenager was recovered from accused kidnapper Michael Devlin, a 41-year-old pizzeria manager.
Asked if the parents thought their son was sexually abused they nodded their heads and said, ''Yes.''
The same day, the teenager's grandmother told the associated press that her grandson was awakened every 45 minutes in an attempt to show Devlin controlled the victim and prosecution added that the kidnapper also pointed a handgun at the teen.
Some of the American public is questioning whether or not the alleged victim wanted to escape and return home when hearing about the freedom he was given by his kidnapper. Witnesses saw the teen riding his bike, using a cell phone and even learning how to drive with the kidnapper.
The suspect has pleaded not guilty to the other boy kidnapped on Jan.8 but has not been officially charged with this kidnapping as of now.
