"Preacher's Kid Gone Wild" comes to FPC

The fearless comedic styling of Kristen Key, AKA "The Preacher's Kid Gone Wild," will be coming to Franklin Pierce on Thursday March 29th at 8pm in Pierce Hall. Best known for her performance on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Kristen has developed a strong fan base as a result of her witty and in your face approach to comedy.

Starting in small town comedy clubs in her hometown of Amarillo, Texas at the age of 19, Kristen, who is still considered one of the youngest comedic headliners on today's circuit, now has two full CDs in stores and makes regular appearances touring, on television, and on the radio.

Where as many female comics are cast typed into a certain role, Kristen has gained popularity as a result of her talent and not her gender. As she says on her official website, "I think chick comics get a bad rap. Not all female comics are male-hating housewives with kids and "grrrrLL" power. I don't want to get on stage and go on and on about my period, or how cute babies are. Being a woman is interesting but there's just better sh$t to talk about."

For more information on Kristen and her comedy, you can visit her My Space page.
