by Rob Centore The only problem with that for those haters is that the Pats strive off of having their backs up against a wall and having everyone pick against them. This was suppose to be the first year where Bill Belichick couldn't use the "Us against the world," phrase, but after week 1 where they were caught "cheating" and videotaping the R-A-T-S defensive signals, once again that phrase as become relevant. Every week since, analysts and fans have dogged the team for running up the score even though they are playing teams that are paid millions of dollars to go out and play football . . . the other team is suppose to stop them from scoring; they aren't suppose to stop themselves. CBS analyst Shannon "Shut Up" Sharpe said that the only way the Pats would come back against he Colts last weekend was if somehow their defense got younger during halftime because they were too slow and too old. Guess what Shannon? Belichick is also a chemist and created a fountain of youth formula during that fifteen minutes and made his team younger . . . well that has to be true since they came back to win. Sharpe just like others are blind and stupid and don't realize that they are witnessing history in the making. The Patriots are seven games away from becoming only the 2nd team in NFL history to go undefeated, but yet people like Don Shula still have something to ay against them. The Hall of Fame coach said
that if the Pats go undefeated that they should have to put an asterisk next
to their name because of the spy gate scandal. Are you kidding me? The
only reason there should be an asterisk is because the Pats will go 19-0
unlike the Dolphins team in 1972 that only went 17-0 because of a shorten
schedule. Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have mastered the
NFL, something that was never suppose to happen. On and off the field they
figure out a way to beat the system and get everything they want for the
price they want. Year in and year out they are in the playoffs and in an
off year they don't make the Super Bowl. |
