Assistant Director of Development

Location: Rindge, NH

Franklin Pierce University’s Division of Institutional Advancement invites applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Development.  The Assistant Director of Development is primarily responsible for managing and directing fundraising for The Pierce Annual Fund which includes various programs and substantial connection and solicitation with alumni, parents and friends of Franklin Pierce University. This position will also assist with other general fundraising plans and initiatives, as well as assisting with the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for short- and long-term success. The Assistant Director will require some travel for the University, with some overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of two years of related experience in development or related field. This position requires an individual who possesses strong interpersonal, writing and oral communication skills. Must be well-rounded, disciplined, detail and results oriented, self-motivated, persistent and energetic. Candidates must have the ability and willingness to travel and work nights and weekends, as required.
