Assistant Professor of Security Studies

Location: Rindge, NH

 

The Division of Humanities at Franklin Pierce University, the College at Rindge, NH, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Security Studies at its undergraduate Rindge campus.  The successful candidate will teach four courses (three preparations) within the Political Science program, the interdisciplinary Intelligence & Security Studies program, and General and Liberal Education curriculum each semester as deemed appropriate according to program needs. The preference is for a generalist with experience and a willingness to teach in the areas of American, comparative and global politics. A candidate that can demonstrate experience in the techniques of applied and experiential learning is desirable.

 

Appointed faculty are expected to engage in institutional service as well as maintain a program of scholarly work. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in Political Science, proven effectiveness as an undergraduate instructor, exhibit a strong commitment to student learning and advising, and show promise in pedagogical innovation.
