Records Specialist and Veterans Coordinator

Location: Rindge, NH


Franklin Pierce University is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our Registrar Team as a Records Specialist and Veteran’s Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12 month, benefitted position that reports to the University Registrar.

The Records Specialist will process and maintain computerized and manual student records in the Registrar’s Office, provide superior service and communicate appropriate information to constituents as necessary. 

Essential to this position is ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail, the desire to deliver top-quality service and fully participate within a robust, team-based environment.  The incumbent will contribute to the day-to-day functions of the registrar’s office including wide-ranging record maintenance, transcripts, verifications, and email and phone coverage. 

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated administrative experience in a higher education setting is desired.  The successful candidate will be highly familiar with the Microsoft Office software package and experience with student databases.  The qualified individual is detailed, flexible, self-motivated and capable of interpreting, explaining, following, applying and enforcing policies and procedures.
