Head Coach - Men's & Women's Tennis

Location: Rindge, NH

 

Franklin Pierce University is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the position of Head Coach Men’s & Women’s Tennis.  As an integral member of the Athletics Coaching staff, this position reports directly to the Athletic Director. The position is a full-time, 12 month coaching position that is responsible for all aspects of the program development for the Tennis program within institutional, conference and NCAA Division II regulations, inclusive of scheduling, budget management and recruitment and retention of student-athletes.  Included in the duties for this position will to assist in home game administration.

 

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree but a Master’s would be preferred.  Experience with coaching at the college level is required. The individual must possess good organizational, oral and written communication skills. Recruiting skills are essential in this role.  The successful candidate will possess knowledge of athletic recruitment methods and techniques, and financial/business analysis techniques.  An in-depth knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes is required. Preferred skills in budget preparation and management.
