Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a stable & enthusiastic
learning environment for students managing pre-health course loads;
provide guidance, support, & supervision during weekly study
sessions; facilitate team building & maintain accurate records for
participating students, including progress & concerns, with the
Director of Health Sciences &/or Coordinator of Academic Support
Programs
Work Days Required:
Monday through Thursday.
Three shifts available: 5-7pm, 6-8pm or 7-9pm
Supervision:
Patti Vorfeld (CAE) & Tom Bennett
(Natural Sciences)
Supervision Exercised:
Students studying
in pre-health courses
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Required:
3.4 cumulative GPA,
sophomore class standing with successful completion of biology,
chemistry, & algebra/trigonometry
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge that
might be gained in this position:
Communication, teambuilding & leadership skills
Any training required for the student and costs:
Training provided throughout the semester
