HR Student Assistant Position - Human Resources
The HR Student Assistant position
assists the HR department with administrative and clerical needs.
Duties can include reception and front desk duties, assisting guests
and visitors, answering phones, photocopying and filing. Students
will also assist with mailings, make on-campus deliveries as
requested, and help with the preparation of new hire and orientation
packets. The HR Student Assistant will also work on projects and
events, as well as other related duties, when required.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Required:
As a customer service-oriented
position, Assistants are expected to be courteous and helpful.
Assistants should be able to follow specified policies and
procedures, be attentive to detailed work, and perform their
work thoroughly and accurately with minimal supervision. Punctuality
and dependability are very important, along with a good work
attitude, as our Student Assistants are assets to our HR Team. As a
lot of the work is computer based, Assistants must have basic skills
in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Each shift must be a minimum
of 2 hours.
