Cafe Food Service Worker


The Cafe Food Service Worker duties and responsibilities include: cleaning tables, stocking dishwasher, cleaning food surfaces, sweeping, mopping, loading and unloading the dish machine, stocking station items (dessert, cereals, milks, & any other need/request).


The Cafe Food Service Worker must be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions, be punctual and demonstrate and execute great customer service.  Must be able to stand for up to four hours.


Minimum Qualifications / Skills Required:

Must be punctual and must be able to work shifts that are assigned.  Kitchen experience preferred but not required.


Skills, Abilities and Knowledge that might be gained in this position:

Learning basic culinary skills and production techniques.


Any training required for the student and costs:

HACCP training and equipment safety training will be done at Sodexo's expense


Special Notes:

Students are entitled to one free meal while working a shift.  Shifts are available every day, first to sign up will have first choice of open shifts.
