Summer Employment Student Assistant Position

Available to work 20 25 hours each week


The applicant will provide support to three Academic Deans and an Administrative Assistant.  The office is fast-paced with multiple projects being worked simultaneously.   Projects specific to summer are completing annual budget reports, planning workshops, archiving records, scanning documents, and cleaning files. 


Duties and responsibilities:  create reimbursements, check and purchase requisitions; reconcile budgets, answer phones, greet visitors, make deliveries around campus. Confidentiality is essential.


Qualifications/Skills Required:  Must be reliable, pleasant and courteous attitude with visitors and phone conversations; be proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel.   Attentive to details, a self-starter and work independently.

The Academic Affairs office is open every day during summer, 8:00 4:30.  Requesting applicant begin work the Monday following Commencement and ending the Friday before Fall semester classes begin.
