Perform work on
campus grounds including operating lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and
other power and hands tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work with minimal supervision. May work with full time
employees performing grounds related duties including event and
conference set ups. Must possess a valid driverís license and be
able to become certified to drive University vehicles. Individuals
may be required to work some weekends, holidays and mandatory days.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Required:
Must maintain a
high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
and discretion. Maintain acceptable work habits, punctuality and
regularity of attendance to arrive and leave work on time and
observe established break times and lunch periods.
effectively communicate and follow oral instructions in English.
Ability to effectively read written instructions, signs and products
University protocol relating to safety procedures.
Adhere to the
policies and procedures established by Franklin Pierce University.
Accept and render
constructive criticism in a professional manner.
Carry out all
responsibilities and objectives in a professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Hours of Work:
30 - 35 hours per week. Hours available between 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday
through Friday. May be required to work some weekends, holidays and
