Title: Student Ambassador-Tour Guide/Student Assistant Department: Admissions
Supervisor:  Braelan O'Toole Location: Rindge, NH


 Student Ambassador - Tour Guide / Student Assistant


  • Provide tours to visitors (Students and their families, School Counselors, Tour Groups, etc.)
  • Clerical Work (front desk operations, answer phones, filing, data entry)
  • Tele-counseling
  • Assist all Admissions Staff Members with various projects
  • Participate in Student Panels
  • Assist with STEP Day programs and other special events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, and Abilities and Knowledge that might be gained in this position:

  • Thorough knowledge of Franklin Pierce University
  • A basic understanding of the college admissions process
  • Excellent oral and written communicative skills
  • Personal interaction skills
  • Will gain a more thorough knowledge of use of office equipment
  • Will learn how to develop and maintain a daily office schedule

Schedule:  Your schedule will vary based on the number of hours needed to meet the assigned duties.  Students in this position will need to have the ability to work early morning, evening and weekend hours to meet the needs for scheduled tours, walk-ins, telecommunication activities, and events.  Visitor needs could impact scheduling.
