Since 1973, the Federation's
contributions to the University and the faculty have
been varied and many, and include the recent
establishment of four student scholar-ships in the total
amount of $3,000. They are truly a part of the Franklin
Pierce family.
Ninety-seven percent (97%) of full-time faculty and
sixty-seven percent (67%) of part-time faculty are
currently members of the Rindge Faculty Federation, and
an additional ten percent (10%) of faculty support the
Federation as agency fee payers. The dues structure is
approved by a majority vote of the membership after
consideration of the budget and recommendation by the
executive committee.
The payment of dues or
agency fees entitles the faculty member to one million
dollars ($1,000,000) in professional liability insurance
as well as accident insurance of $5,000. Although the
Federation retains only a small portion of the member's
dues, they have established scholarships for students as
mentioned above.

Any College of Rindge Faculty member who
wishes to teach additional courses within the College of
Graduate an Professional Studies should contact
Associate Dean, Jean Blacketor at ext. 4101. Schedules
