Tips & Facts

Laugh everyday: Laughing has positive effects on both emotional and physical health.

According to Dr. Fry of Stanford University, laughing 200 times burns off the same amount of calories as 10 minutes on the rowing machine.

Take a break: Give yourself a brief break from thinking about stress or all the work that you do. Find time to relax or do something fun.

Spend time with others: Connecting with others on a regular basis is important to emotional well being. Call a friend to share a funny story or talk to a colleague.

Keep expectations of yourself and others realistic.

Don't give up when you still have something to give.

Choose to be a good friend to yourself.
