Wellness Mission Statement

 

 

It is the mission of the Franklin Pierce University Wellness Program to promote the health and wellness of faculty, administration, staff, and students through education and initiatives that:

 

  • Support members of the Franklin Pierce community in making healthy choices within their work and home lives

  • Encourage habits of wellness

  • Increase awareness of factors and resources contributing to well-being

  • Inspire and empower individuals to take responsibility for their own health

  • Support a sense of community

 

 

Wellness can be thought of as the quality or state of being in good health.  Wellness can further be defined as a dynamic process involving aspects of well-being.
