Check-In procedures
for Summer Session I at the Rindge Campus
On-campus courses in Summer
Session I begin on June 1st, and run through June 26th.
Ø
Students who are taking on-campus
classes during Summer Session I need to check in for the
Session. This check-in serves as your confirmation of
registration for the Summer I Session. Students can come to the
Lobby of DiGregorio, Monday June 1st, from 8:00am to 12 noon to
confirm registration via the check-in laptop computer. You will
need your University ID to do this. Students may also email
registrar@franklinpierce.edu to confirm registration.
If you do not plan on
attending Summer Session I please reply to this e-mail or
contact the Registrar’s Office from your Franklin Pierce e-mail
account at
registrar@franklinpierce.edu on receipt of this email and
let us know to drop your classes.
Ø
If you will be living on campus, you
should report to the Mountain
View Community Room, from 12pm to 4pm for room check in on
Sunday May 31,
2009. If you arrive after 4pm you need to stop at
Campus Safety for room info.
Ø
Classes begin at 8:00am, Monday June
1st. Late registration and
add/drop end at 4:00pm, Tuesday June 2nd. Summer
terms are very short and the courses are fast-paced; therefore,
it is important that you begin classes immediately. No one will
be allowed to add a class after the second day without special
permission from the Dean of the College.
Ø
Students must have their balance paid in full no later than the
first day of classes. (Students in need of financial
assistance to cover summer charges must complete the Summer
Financial Aid Application and all requirements listed in order
for financial aid to be processed.) Students who have not paid
their balance will have their summer classes dropped.
Please call the Student Financial
Services Office at 1-877-372-7347 with questions about finances
or bills.
Please call x4068 or e-mail the
Registrar’s office general e-mail account at
registrar@franklinpierce.edu if you need additional general
information.
Note: Students who are only taking
Online courses aside from College Writing (AD370.012,
CIT101.012, CIT102.012, IC210.012, MK335.012 or MK350.012) have
already checked in online via participation in class and do not
need to check-in at this time. These classes are already in
session. Online College Writing students need to check-in and
may do so via email to
registrar@franklinpierce.edu.
Students who are ONLY doing
internships away from the Rindge campus need to pay their
balances by the first day of classes, but do not need to
Check-In. Internship students
need to make sure a copy of their internship contract is sent to
the Registrar. If you are still registered in ID001 Internship
Pending Contract, we have not received your contract. Your
contract must be received by July 15, or your internship
registration will be moved to the Fall 2009 Semester,
which could cause you to be overloaded on tuition in the fall.
Sincerely,
Susan Chamberlin, Registrar
