What does it mean to tutor?
Whether you've tutored for years or this is your first time, you've probably thought about that question. Consider the following:
Tutoring is:

- A Chance to Learn About Yourself
Characteristics of a Tutor:
- Someone who models to others
- Someone who is present during tutoring sessions
- Someone who communicates boundaries
- Someone who is not afraid to ask for help when needed
Tutoring is NOT about:
- Satisfying your desire to be needed
- Not showing up
- Knowing all the Answers
- Giving the answers
- Doing students' work for them
