Group Term-Life

 

 

Franklin Pierce University, together with Mutual of Omaha Group, provides you with group term-life and accidental death &  dismemberment insurance, on a non-contributory basis.

 

Amount of coverage is dependent on your job classification as outlined below:

  • Non-Exempt employees shall receive one and a half (1½) times the annual base salary for life coverage. Maximum of $225,000

  • Exempt employees shall receive two (2) times the annual base salary for life coverage. Maximum of $225,000

  • Executive employees shall receive three (3) times the annual base salary for life coverage. Maximum of $500,000

 

Eligibility

All full-time employees are eligible on the first of the month following 30 calendar days of employment.

 

All employees are granted this benefit, regardless of any medical condition(s) that might otherwise have prevented their insurability.

Enrollment into the plan is automatic once you have met eligibility.
